When Food Allergies Rock: Kids With Food Allergies Strides for Safe Kids 2012

You know when food allergies rock? When we all get together and shout out our food allergies. That day was September 9, 2012, at the Kids With Food Allergies (www.kidswithfoodallergies.org) Fourth Annual Strides for Safe Kids Mall Walk and Expo at the Plymouth Meeting Mall in Plymouth Meeting, PA.

I was fortunate enough to MC the event as the Board Chair for Kids With Food Allergies Foundation (KFA). KFA gave Representative Thomas Murt, a food allergy advocate, a special certificate of appreciation for his tireless policy work on behalf of food allergic children and their families in Pennsylvania. Representative Murt is a co-sponsor of PA Bill 2067 which will allow undesignated epinephrine in all schools in Pennsylvania.

All of the children and their parents had a fabulous time, as you can tell by their bright, smiling faces, and their dance moves to the music of Kyle Dine (www.kyledine.com) .One of the many highlights was Captain Jack and his crew of Food Allergy Pirates. (www.peanutfreepirates.com).
