What do allergen-friendly shelf-stable foods look like? They can be found sporadically in every aisle in the grocery store and health food stores. Labels need to be read against a food allergy list. A lot goes into figuring out what is “allergen-friendly” including reading ingredients, phoning manufacturers, and the list will vary widely depending on the number of allergens.
